A Brief History of WEW:

• Founded in 1939 as Gerhard KG

• Initially focused on welded carbon steel tank designs, static tanks and pressure vessels

• DIN-certified welded storage tanks from ca. 1955

• Stainless steel tank production began in 1968

• Focus on special tank containers since the advent of mass-produced units from South Africa
